Carnac Quartz, the shoes made
legendary by George Hincapie in the 2003 Tour de France are
still atop the Carnac menu for 2004. Rather than using a
mechanical closure system like the Silex, the Quartz employs
4 carbon fiber velcro straps. The neoprene upper and carbon
heelband in conjunction with real leather make the Quartz
light, supple, and incredibly comfortable. The UCS EV3 sole
ensures stiffness and an optimal interface between the cleat
and pedal. Please keep in mind that you must purchase the
appropriate UCS cleat adapter for your pedal system along
with the shoes! Available in Blue and Black. |
